HERO BX is committed to new technology development, implementation of existing technologies to improving process efficiency, chemical, biodiesel feedstock and additive development and testing of new technologies. HERO BX has tested and approved 15 potential feedstock sources for a completely renewable biodiesel in large future volumes. Our facility has run on 11 of the HERO BX approved feedstocks and we are working on implementing more second generation feedstocks into the arsenal by working with local and National agricultural organizations to increase the availability of Jatropha and Camelina oils.
Third generation feedstocks are thought to be the mile stone for Biofuels of all kinds. We agree. HERO BX has put together an Algae initiative to help improve technologies and speed up implementation of Algal oil as the main volume feedstock for Biodiesel and biomass production globally.
